As a parent with the ADD/ADHD brain type, it’s safe to say that you’re a heavyweight arguer; many rapid-fire thinkers like to use arguments as a multi-purpose tool.
Marijuana use in particular allows those struggling with their ADHD to dampen feelings of anxiety and frustration from constantly trying to “fit in,” and instead to feel relaxed and at ease for a short while.
While it’s harder to quantify a relationship between food groups and ADD/ADHD symptoms, I personally believe that a healthy diet helps bring out the best in everyone and wherever you look recent research is bearing this out.
When you’re in a relationship with a rapid-fire thinker, you need to understand that you can’t fix them.
